Description:
In 1968, our family purchased seven farms surrounding a magnificent 19-century winery in southern Napa Valley and created Trefethen Family Vineyards. At the time, there were fewer than 30 working wineries in Napa Valley. True to our original vision of creating a classic wine estate, we have never purchased a single outside grape. Instead, we lavish extraordinary care on our two sustainably farmed estate vineyards in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, an ideal climate zone between Napa's warmer up-valley appellations and its cool southern tip.

Hours: 10:00 am - 5:00 pmMore Info
Description:
Trinchero Napa Valley was founded in 1998 to commemorate fifty years of family winemaking. In 2007 a new state-of-the-art winery was erected in St. Helena to honor the legacy of Napa Valley pioneer, Mario Trinchero; the same year that Mario Monticelli was named head winemaker. Monticelli had formerly served as assistant winemaker to famed consultant Philippe Melka on such notable Napa Valley wines as Hundred Acre, Quintessa, Vineyard 29, Lail and Caldwell, before joining Quixote in the capacity of winemaker in 2004. The Trinchero Napa Valley portfolio consists of single vineyard, hand-crafted, small production wines sourced from the family's estate vineyards in some of the Valley's most prized appellations.
Turnbull Wine Cellars

Hours: 10:00 am - 4:30 pmMore Info
Description:
"We Put Our Money Where our Grapes Are" The Turnbull name goes back to the early 1300's when William Roule of Bedrule saved the life of Scottish king Robert the Bruce from a wild bull that was threatening to gore him. William jumped in between the bull and the king and proceeded to turn it back. The grateful king dubbed his subject "Turnbull" and awarded him a crest featuring a bull's head twisted back with the motto: Audaci Favet Fortuna, or "Fortune Favors the Bold". Today, we demonstrate our boldness through our wines. We craft our award-winning wines using fifteen different grape varieties grown on our family-owned, estate vineyards in Oakville and Calistoga. This allows the winemaker and his team the ability to create wines with distinctive flavors that capture the personality of the site, from steep hillsides, to the bench land, to the valley floor.
Twomey Cellars

Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pmMore Info
Description:
Twomey Cellars originates in a single Napa Valley vineyard, the Soda Canyon Ranch, where Merlot grows with such extraordinary complexity that it calls for a wine of its own. Six times during the eighteen months of aging, the wine is racked from barrel to barrel in the soutirage traditional, which has been refined over centuries in Pomerol and remains the ideal way to clarify red wines to crystal-clear brilliance while drawing its fruit characteristics forward and softening its tannins. Essentially, the soutirage traditional is a slow, careful process of decanting the wine from one barrel to another without the disruptive effects of a pump. This marriage of classical French technique and an extraordinary California vineyard, results in Twomey's distinctive, complex, and rich expression of luscious fruit.
